About me

I’m an atmospheric scientist at the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF) in Davos. I finished my PhD research at the University of Barcelona about mesoscalar and microphysical precipitation processes at mountain areas. I previously worked as a meteorologist at the Spanish National Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and participated in Antarctic meteorological activities for the Spanish stations. At SLF I am working on the quantification of the atmospheric processes that occur during blowing snow events.

Research Interests

My research interests are meteorology and climatology of mountain and polar regions including snow and precipitation processes and measurements with remote-sensing instruments, climatology and multidisciplinary studies. Now focused on atmospheric processes during blowing snow events.
