Reallabor Jurapark

Cooperation FinancingUsing the example of the Jurapark Aargau, researchers from ETH Zurich, WSL, Eawag, and Empa are working together with local stakeholders to establish a Real-world Lab to promote sustainable development. The Jurapark Aargau is one of 16 Swiss regional nature parks of national importance and serves as a model region for sustainable development. A Real-world Lab is a format for transdisciplinary research. Researchers from various disciplines and stakeholders from different societal sectors work together to identify pressing sustainable development issues for the region, design and implement concrete measures, and study whether and how these work on-site. The project examines the success factors of Real-world Labs and is a "Joint Initiative" of the ETH Domain.
