Forschungsinteressen

Als Ökologe arbeite ich in verschiedenen Fachgebieten wie Bioinformatic, Ökophysiologie und Biogeography. Während meiner Doktorarbeit studierte ich den Einfluss von Mikroklimaunterschieden auf die räumliche Verteilung von artisch-alpinen Pflanzenarten und deren zu erwartende Verschiebungen mit dem Klimawandel. Weitere Forschungsprojekte beschäftigten sich mit den Auswirkungen von vermehrter Trockenheit auf Laubbäume, diveresen technischen und angewandten Aspekten von Artverbreitungsmodellen und mit Ökologie von Artengemeinschaften.
