The SLF snow maps provide an overview of the current snow situation in Switzerland. They are based on automatic and manual measurements of the SLF and MeteoSwiss and on the models of the SLF’s operational snow-hydrological service (OSHD).
The maps are primarily intended for snow sport participants and avalanche service employees.
The following maps are available:
- Fresh snow
- Snow depth
- Relative snow depth
- Snow profiles
