Prospective natural hazard management SBB

The effects of climate change influence the dynamics of alpine mass movements. For a future-oriented asset management, the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) need reliable foundations. In the project "Prospective Natural Hazard Management SBB", a comprehensive modelling of mass movements and risk calculations for the current situation and two future states are carried out along the SBB railway network. This will provide SBB with a basis for decisions on how to adapt to the effects of climate change.
