Botanical fieldwork is one of my great passions. Combined with my interest in alpine regions and the study of (climate-induced) changes in plant biodiversity, it was an obvious choice to come to SLF for my master's thesis.
Here I am working on the interaction of plant and microbial communities along an altitudinal and snow gradient. The goal is to find out if plant communities can be used as proxies for microbial communities.
